When people see that you have dark circles under your eyes, they usually suspect you were up all night and are currently recovering from excessive alcohol consumption. The best way to get rid of the dark circles under your eyes is to address the problem that is causing them. For example, if you believe the cause is due to a lack of sleep, try and get more sleep. If it is due to congestion, try to get rid of the congestion, if it is due to sun exposure then stay out of the sun etc.
Although this is the most efficient way to get rid of them, in some cases it is impossible to fix or even address the root cause of these dark circles. If that is the case, then try these natural home remedies for dark circles.
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey
- 1 teaspoon of fresh cucumber juice
- 1 teaspoon of freshly grated potato
Simply mix everything together thoroughly and apply it to your face like any other face mask. Rinse off after 15 minutes. Do this everyday for at least 30 days. You can make a large batch of the face mask mixture and store it in your fridge between uses.
